The shape of the helical plate is critical to a successful installation as it performs a vital role in providing the downward force or thrust needed to rotate the pile into the soil. Our companys professional engineer has designed a unique die to create this optimal shape. All of our helical plates are pressed in this die which can cold form the helical plate into a perfect helical configuration for any angle, ensuring that its helical surface is normal to the axis or shaft, and the leading edge is parallel to the trailing edge. The perfect helical surface will develop a clean rotation through the soil, resulting in a successful installation with minimal soil disruption.
With our advanced technology of cold forming helical plates, we not only manufacture screw piles, but also supply helical plates for auger conveyors in fields of agriculture, environmental protection, chemical industry and mining machines etc. At present, we are able to produce all different types of helical plates with uniform quality, and by different types of raw materials, including carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, wear resistant steel, etc. We also offer custom-sized helical plates, up to a maximum size of outside diameter (OD) 2,000 mm, thickness 50 mm.
